Caregiver Shower

Party & Gift Ideas

We come together in celebration when there is a life changing event.  We shower a new bride & parents-to-be.  We do nto think normally to "shower" the accidental caregiver who makes a decision to care for a parent, a spouse or an adult child.

Much of the time this role comes on unexpectedly and follows a crisis.  We do not stop to ask how can we turn this situation around and show support.

We suggest "Caregiver Showers"

The above link is a gift list & examples of wording for an invitation.

This "shower" will help lessen anxiety and bring out the best in people to realize what the caregiver is facing  & what they are sacrificing.
